Installed from:    Mandrake RPMs
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.2 (Mandrakelinux 10.0 3.3.2-7mdk) 
OS:                Linux

When going in Konqueror's Go menu to Applications, it now brings you this "programs:/" URL.  If you browse to an app and right-click it and choose Properties, the 3rd tab is useless and doesn't let you actually edit the program's properties (name, description, comment, command, mimes, advanced options etc) or even see them.  Go > Applictions used to take you to /usr/share/applnk where you can actually right-click and change those Properties (changes will be saved to ~/.kde/share/applnk) and if you do this manually, it still works.

None of this still seems relevant today with Dolphin and KDE Frameworks 5; closing.
