Description Carl Boettiger 2004-08-13 19:06:11 UTC
Version: 0.5 (using KDE 3.2.1, SuSE)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.5-7.104-default

I launch menu editor program and make the modifications I desire without any trouble, and the modifications appear on the start menu with no problems. Later, I decide to modify the menu again, and relaunch the program. The changes I had made before do not appear, and the editor list on the left side does not match the actual start menu. Any program I had added does not appear and certain branches appear empty.

Example: I add Kile to the office/wordprocessor list the first time using the editor. I go back to the editor and it does not appear. I move KmyMoney out of the Finance subfolder into the office folder itself. I save, close and relaunch the program and the office tree no longer displays any submenus at all. Any modification I make in the menu now results in that tree becoming empty.
