Description dag 2004-08-13 17:18:59 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc 3.4.1
OS: Linux

I have a dualhead configuration here and am using autohide for the panels. There were problems with the panels in the secondary screen not poppoing up in previous versions, but now the panels are gone alltogether. I can also see KDE beeing very confused about the different screens. Identify screens in Kcontrol will put both 1 and 2 on the primary panel. 3.3 RC2 also cannot setup a background picture on screen 2.

dualhead as in "Xinerama" or dualhead as in "two separate X screens"? in any case, this really sounds like your multiscreen set up is messed up (backgrounds not working, identify screens not working...) rather than this being a kicker issue. more information on your X settings will be necessary to address this issue, otherwise this bug will get marked INVALID.

This is two separate X-screens and I did have something in the setup when I
reported the bug. Probably because I upgraded KDE to 3.3 wihthout a reboot.
After a reboot things work as before. Ie. the only problem is that a hidden
kicker doesn't appear
on the secondary screen when pushing the mouse pointer against the bottom.
If I put the pointer against the bottom of the primary screen both kickers will
appear.
This might have something to do with the fact that the screens have different
resolutions.
One is 800x600 (secondary) the other 1024x768 (primary).
