Description Andy Pepperdine 2004-08-06 11:51:12 UTC
Version: 0.7.7 (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

When reading different languages in groups, it would be nice to be able to define the introduction phrase in the language of the newgroup, and not a general one for the whole identity. The word 'wrote' is English, and it could easily be prepared for each language group by the user.

As an aside, the format of %DATE is always the same, and includes names of days and months, it would be nice to be able to change the format to make it language independent, say 2004-08-06 instead of Friday 6 August 2004. Switching locales per group seems overkill.

Agreed.

It's strange you can set different signatures for each group but not different introductory phrases.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
