Version: 1.01 (using KDE 3.2.92 (3.3 beta2), compiled sources) Compiler: gcc version 3.2.2 OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.7 Having an extra tab to show the files that have just been completed encoding would be useful, at the moment one has to go and look for them wherever they have ended up, (which might not have been where one intended). Also, having an option to automatically add the completed files to noatun's playlist would be cool (or just be able to run a random command on the file).
So a log type tab? In 3.3 you can specify events that occur and noatun might have a dcop call you could make.
I kind of meant like a file list, which would show the paths where different tracks ended up, so it wouldn't be a matter of hunting around for the last track to be ripped, whether the artist name included 'The' or not and whether I got the path telling the encoder where to save the files to right. Showing the whole path name, plus maybe the sort of info listed in konqueror's info list view... track length, bitrate, genre etc. Anyway, it was just a thought.. I tried to send DCOP calls to noatun, it does have an addFile <filename> <autoplay> call, but calling this with %f doesn't pass the filename correctly. I don't know what the parameter substitution should be, I just guessed. :) It's really nice to be able to do automation like that in KDE, but it might not be something new users could get easily.
I wonder if this is all moot if Juk were to incorporate audio ripping? Then you could get all that info right there in the app which is built to do that rather then KAudiocreator which really is for conversion.... hmm
Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.
This project is unfortunately no longer maintained. If a new maintainer wants to step up and take care, the project is archived here: https://invent.kde.org/unmaintained/kaudiocreator You can just clone it in your private namespace on invent.kde.org and if you have started to work on it and fixed/implemented something get it reviewed and the project unarchived. Sorry for the inconveniences.
