Description Georg 2004-07-22 04:59:49 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.3)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

I am sorting my mails with latest messages on top (descending).
Then new mail arrive, kmail doesn't scroll to the top of the list, so the only way I see new messages is, that the scroll bar is not on the top and "unread messages" shows xx.
In my opinion, the default behaviour should be, when on the top of the list before a message arrives, stay on top of the list, after the message arrives (still selecting the same message as before). This is the behaviour of mozilla mail/thunderbird.

An other issue is, that it is not possible to scroll through the message list by using the cursor keys, because the message gets the cursor automatically.

The first part is a duplicate, and the second part works using left/right cursor keys.
