Version: 3.2.3 (using KDE 3.2.3, compiled sources) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22 (1) There is no way in knode to bookmark a Usenet article. There is even no way to see the "news:" or "nntp:" URL of an article. (This is a problem with knode, not konqueror, but I mention it here, because it is probably part of the same problem.) (2) You can type "news:message@id" in Konqueror's location bar and it will open the right message in Knode, but it then immediately changes the @ to %40, so that you can't bookmark the URL and when you try to open the URL again, it looks like a newsgroup name, instead of a message ID, which Knode then fails to open, of course. So my wishes: knode and konqueror should allow to bookmark Usenet articles and konqueror should not change @ to %40, if the protocol is "news:". (The bookmark should probably be a "news:" URL, not a "nntp:" one, since the latter cannot be shared with people on other networks. See http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1738.txt)
Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
