Description Andreas Joseph Krogh 2004-07-13 00:31:46 UTC
Version: 1.6.82 (using KDE 3.2.91 (CVS >= 20040706), compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.1 3.2.2-3mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.25

When sending the first mail with KMail(after starting it up), it hangs for a long time trying to retrieve the message list of the "Sent"-folder. It seems it's trying to get all the headers in the "Sent"-folder every time after I send my first message after starting it up, but hangs while doing it. This makes KMail completely useless for me. KMail in KDE-3.2 worked(still retrieved all headers the first time, but eventually returned).
A screenshot of the progress-info is here(it's like this forever, never completes any of the jobs):

Is there any more info I can provide to help making this work?

This problem went away when I deleted these:

~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/imap/.1429260864.directory/.INBOX.directory/Sent
~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/imap/.1429260864.directory/.INBOX.directory/.Sent.*
