Version: 2.0 (using KDE KDE 3.2.1) Installed from: RedHat RPMs OS: Linux I often find myself going to: Settings -> Configure Cervisia -> Diff to set or remove the external diff viewer option (I often use gvim -d). I think it would be useful to have a shortcut for the default diff viever even when the external diff is set (example, leave ctrl-D as is and add a ctrl-E that opens the same diff but with the external diff program). Thank you for a wonderful aide to CVS newbies like me. Gianluca
Hi, Is there a specific reason why you're switching between the external and internal diff? Why don't you always use the external diff program? Christian
smart question... Basically, the internal diff in faster to load, so it is more efficient when I need to compare several revisions in a row. Moreover, I find the internal diff quite clear in showing where the diffs are and how much of them you have. On the other hand, I often miss the ability of the internal one to actually modify the file, so I pass the files to gvim and edit the file as needed. Thanks for your time

Thanks for reminding me I left this open for so long! I had no idea the project was still active, I stopped using CVS a looooong time ago :) and completely forgot. Regards Gianluca
