Description Chris Fraser 2004-07-08 15:25:15 UTC
Version: unknown (using KDE 3.2.91 (3.3 beta1), compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Mandrake Linux 10.0 3.3.2-6mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.3-7mdk

When Kdesktop 3.2.91 is set to auto arrange, the alignment grid is HUMUNGOUS, with a capital h. only vertically, though. the horizontal grid is fine.

I have the same problem with same version of KDE (3.3 beta1). When icons are auto-arranged, there are huge spaces between them (especially vertically, another row of icons would fit between the existing rows).
