Version: 1.3.1 (using KDE KDE 3.2.1) Installed from: Mandrake RPMs OS: Linux It would be nice if there was a way to have Kivo 'Auto-Fit' the shape to the text inside. Either through a context menu or a keyboard shortcut (CTRL+DoubleClick ?) If this feature could also apply to a selection set, that would be cool, too. Specifically, what I was thinking was: -user places shape -user double clicks to edit text. -They enters a long sentence, that causes half the text to be 'hidden' -Then, the invoke 'Fit Shape to Text' feature, which causes the shape to resize so that the text actually fits inside the shape, and is completely visable.
Interesting suggestion I'll see what I can do when I get the time.
What I would prefer is a fit text to shape. ( the text resize to match the shape, but both are good). Whant to point out that it may be quite simple since there is a near functionality in kword 2 now. See Zander's blog at http://www.kdedevelopers.org/node/2593 The 2 differences I can see is that the text has to be Inside and not outside, and that the Size of text may be reduced if there is no way to print the whole thing in a litle shape. Hope that helps
