Description evoba 2004-07-06 02:56:11 UTC
Version: 3.2.1 (using KDE 3.2.1, SuSE)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.4-52-default

When I create an event in the Palm Datebook (v4.5.1P on Palm ZIRE 71)and sync using Kpilot (/dev/ttyS0) to Korganizer Calendar the record is created with a time exactly 7 hours earlier than I specified and vice versa, if I create an event in KOrganizer Calendar and sync using Kpilot to Palm Datebook the event time is exactly seven hours earlier.

Got the same problem ... but only a 2 hour difference
This probably has something to do with timezones I think
Comment 2 evoba 2004-07-10 01:49:48 UTC
I've corrected the problem by changing the system time format from localtime to UTC by running YaST2 on SUSE 9.1 > System > Time & Date. I also disabled Timezone information in Korganizer using Settings > Configure KOrganizer > Time & Date > Timezone = [No Selection].
Now on to confirming all my appointments. :(
