Description Adam 2004-07-03 01:27:35 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.2)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

It would be nice if you could save the current state of all open windows to a file - i.e. applications open, window sizes and positions, maximized/minimized, etc. I realize you can save the state on shutdown and have it open on startup, but it would be neat if you could save / reload a set of windows anytime.

the session management works exactly as you describe. If you've got specific problems, do specific bug reports.

You have to in the "Session Manager" configuration modul switch to "Restore manually saved session" then there is a item in the K menu to save your current state.

OK, but that's not exactly the feature I requested. I see that you can save the current state anytime, but I would like to be able to restore it anytime too.
