Version: (using KDE Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources New kwin window special settings are wonderful. Thanks :) What I miss is Maximized as special type of window. I'd like such behaviour: when window is maximized make it borderless, currently it had to be done in two steps - Maximize windows, Make it borderless. With Maximized as special type of window (with splashscreen, tear off menu etc.) it could be possible to make rule eg. konqueror -> Maximized -> No border or even All apps (empty class textfields) -> Maximized -> No border. Or maybe this is possible in other way?
This seems overly specialized. Maybe just turning off moving/resizing of maximized window is what you're looking for? Most styles hide some of the borders with this setting turned off.

How to do it? (Plastik as window decoration) If it completely removes border, eg. allows for scrolling webpage with cursor pressed to right border of screen that would be it.
See KControl->Desktop->Window Behaviour->Moving
> ------- See KControl->Desktop->Window Behaviour->Moving Hmm. This is not 100% exactly what I want (maybe 90%). Don't like: - blocking of move and resize. - title bar is still visible, it should vanish and place application menu in infinity (Fitts law). BTW even if I make title bar disappear menu isn't in infinity, should make separate bug report. With suggested switch couldn't #56654 be closed?
