Description Brad Hards 2004-06-20 07:17:42 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

This bug is similar to part of bug:73772, in that the way calendar printing works in the month view is confusing. I'm considering this part to be a usability bug, rather than a wishlist (like the rest of #73772).

Basically, I was trying to print a calendar of 5 weeks (16 Aug 04 to 17 Sep 04), representing a holiday plan. I went to File->Print..., and selected month view, and entered the appropriate dates. When I printed, I got two calendars (one for August 2004 and one for September 2004).

I'd really like to support for arbitrary date ranges (per #73772), but a minimal solution to the usability problem would be to only include month/year in the start selection and end selection.

On review, bug:73722 doesn't really cover the wishlist part for arbitrary date ranges, so I've logged bug:83689 which is a better description for the wished-for behaviour.
