Version: 1.6.1 (using KDE KDE 3.2.1) Installed from: Mandrake RPMs Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Mandrake Linux 10.0 3.3.2-6mdk) OS: Linux Currently, saving message saves it as whole - with all headers and all attachments encoded. This makes collecting just the texts of the messages hard. It would be nice to be able to save mails as plain text. I think it's a very easy thing to implement: 1) take the text/plain part of the message or strip html tags ir html-only 2) include only most important headers like date, from, to, cc 3) save as plain text So the saved-as-plain-text message would be alike with that one we get when we print the message: --------------------------------- Sent: 19 June 2004 From: Blah <blah@blah.com> To: Foo <foo@foo.com> Hell, Foo! My name is Blah. --------------------------------- Good luck!
