Version: 2.0 (using KDE KDE 3.2.1) Installed from: Mandrake RPMs Compiler: gcc 3.3.2 OS: Linux Once the "Start screen saver automatically" box is clicked the screen saver is permanently disabled. Clicking the box again will "X" the box, but the screen saver will not automatically activate. 2.6.3-7mdk gcc 3.3.2 Mandrake Linux 10.0.3.3.2mdk
Ignore most of what I previously said. Swarm will not run. Mouse pointer will disappear and password lock will be enabled, but swarm will not be displayed.
Does this problem only occur with swarm? e.g. Can you reproduce it with other screensavers, if so which one?
This problem was only with swarm. I have since upgraded to Kde 3.2.3 and use xscreensaver. +
Does the Test button in the screensaver control panel activate swarm successfully?
