Description Vesa Linja-aho 2004-06-15 23:15:33 UTC
Version:           0.20 (using KDE 3.2 BRANCH >= 20040204, Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Mandrake Linux 10.0 3.3.2-6mdk)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.3-7mdksecure

I installed the Mandrake Linux 10.0 (stable) with KGhostview and OpenOffice 1.1.0. If I use font called "Nimbus Roman Nro9 L" in an OpenOffice text document, and convert it to a PDF and open it with KGhostview, only couple of first lines are shown. To reproduce:

1. Write a document with font called "Nimbus Roman Nro9 L".
2. Convert it to a PDF by clicking the convert-button on toolbar.
3. Open the document with KGhostview.

The document looks ok with Xpdf and Acrobat reader. An interesting feature is, that if you choose not to embed fonts, the document opens ok (in my computer yes, but not if you don't have Nimbus font installed). Please ask if you need additional info.

Does this still happen with Okular? My guess is it won’t, but just in case it does, could you attach the PDF in question?

Currently I have no linux installed. I guess it is wise to close a 8-year-old bug :-).
