Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.2.2)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
OS:                Linux

When pressing a key for a while (more than 30 seconds) the keyboard
"slowes" down so i have to press any key for more than a second to 
enter anything. It happens usually when i use GIMP because i have
to use the STRG key for a while to select areas. 
When i restart KDE the problem is solved. But thats not a solution.

Do you have anything activated on the Control Center page: Regional & Accessibility -> Accessibility -> Keyboard tab?

e.g. "Sticky Keys" or "Slow Keys"
