Description Dik Takken 2004-06-06 21:15:21 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.2)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
OS: Linux

The term 'Watch File' is causing serious trouble in translations. The english term is not very clear either (I was thinking it would show the postscript source or something) but the translations are worse. The Dutch translation would translate back to 'View File', just to give an example. This is why I only recently discovered the automatic update function, while I have been using KGhostview for years. It's a *lot* better than F5...

I would propose to rename the 'Watch File' function to 'Automatic Update' to avoid any further confusion.

In Okular, the setting — in the General tab — is called “Reload document on file change”, so I guess this could be considered fixed.
