Description arutha 2004-05-14 18:32:20 UTC
Version: 2.0.1 (using KDE 3.2.2, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.3

I'd like to have a shortcut (actually using double click would be best) to add files from the collection list to a specific playlist (maybe the one currently playing or another one). For now you always have to drag the file to the playlist you want to put it into.

This is what I would have liked for the party we had yesterday. Everybody just double clicked to add a song to the playlist from the collection which obviously did not work.

The playlist to add this to should be configurable. Maybe even have a special type of playlist which is the currently playing, which is put directly under the collection list for easy access if you have more than one list.

Again, this faces the problem of number of playlists if arbitrary playlists could be configured for this. However at some point I'll get around to implementing an "upcoming" playlist and there will be a shortcut / right mouse button menu entry for adding items to that.
