Description William Leese 2004-05-08 09:16:00 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (Debian 20040429)
OS: Linux

To reproduce:

Open an SMB URL in konqueror.
Drag&Drop / use the context menu to copy a file to your desktop or elsewhere.

Result:

File transfer dialog appears. The processbar fills normally till it seems to reach perhaps a certain amount of remaining bytes (? the percentage complete isn't the same between different files). The transfer stalls.

Sometimes even the desktop seems to crash. After that happens it's not possible to do any file transfers at all! File transfers fail silently. I can't reproduce this at the moment.
