Version: 1.6.1 (using KDE 3.2.2, Gentoo) Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r1, propolice) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-gentoo-r7 The problem I have is that I used to have two accounts that I would check automatically with kmail 'interval mail checking' Now, I have excluded the account from my check mail procedure because this account is not used anymore. However, I did not de-activate the interval mail checking because I thought it would be done automatically. But it is not. This is tricky because when I check my mail manually, it works as expected but then it will check my mail behind my back. I think that when the user does not want to check its mail with the global check mail, he also implicitely does not want to check it automatically. Therefore, I suggest to disable automatic mail checking when you disable the exclude from check mail.
I am exactly the opposite, I do not want manual check of specific accounts but I do want the automatic checker to be in place, so it seems better to provide to the user the choice of having both, instead of deselecting a checkbox only for the user to have to enable it again wich causes confusion. comments?
