Description Moritz Moeller-Herrmann 2004-04-26 17:26:20 UTC
Version: 3.2.1 (using KDE 3.2.2, (testing/unstable))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (Debian 20040401)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.5-20040404

I am using a korganizer calendar resource on a remote file system via sftp:// to access my laptop. Whenever my notebook is not plugged in, I get an annoying warning dialog. I thought, well this is KDE, I'll configure it away, but unfortunately, I can't find a way set a different kind of notification for this warning.

PROPOSAL: Implement the resource not available warning as a configurable knotify event.

Currently, KOrganizer doesn't use knotify at all. I think lots of events could be changed to use knotify to make the notifications more uniform and better configurable.

Cheers,
Reinhold
