Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0) Installed from: Debian stable Packages KGhostview generates thunbnail previews always in portrait orientation. It stretches the landscape oriented paper in vertical directionto fit portrait-size preview images. Even for PDFs whose orientation is recognized correctly. hope this gets fixed, although it's not severe.

Since the status of this bug is still UNCONFIRMED: I found it, too, on KDE Version 0.20 (KDE 3.3.2, (3.1)) / Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-1-k7 / gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-6). I didn't notice any stretches since in my case the program was showing a source code (that doesn't look much different in landscape or portrait view).
I just checked and it's still there in KGhostview distributed with KDE 3.4.1..
KGhostview in KDE 3.4.2 still doen't fix it. But what about KGhostview anyway? is it dead? Is KPDF its successor (or oKular)? I think I will close this bug some time in the future, if there's no reaction...
This works fine in Okular.
