Description Michael Brade 2004-04-19 16:17:58 UTC
Version: 1.6.51 (using KDE 3.2.90 (CVS >= 20040117), compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (Debian 20040401)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.5

Hi,

Composer window: if the "Reply to:" field is shown kmail puts a button with "..." next to it to indicate that one can select an address. However, the button opens the address selection dialog for To:, CC:, and BCC:. There is no way of setting/selecting the address for the Reply to: field.

So either temporarily remove the button completely or add a very simple address selection dialog.

Cheers,
  Michael

I have this bug as well. I am using kmail 1.6.2 and SuSE 9.0.

confirmed here on gentoo linux; kmail-1.7.1 (kde-3.3.1) compiled with gcc-3.4.2

Ditto on Kmail 1.7.1 KDE 3.3.1 SuSE Linux.

Just add Reply-To to the "Address Selection" dialog that the "..." button brings up in addition to To, Cc, and Bcc. Don't remove the "..." button for Reply-To; it would be useful if the Address Selection dialog was fixed.

The "..." button was removed for the "Reply-to:" field in kmail (trunk r861109), so this report should be closed or moved to the wish list.
