Version:           0.20 (using KDE 3.2.2,  (testing/unstable))
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.3 (Debian 20040401)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.23

I can see anything in open .pdf files. And I get no error message.

I need more information.
What ghostscript version do you run ("gs --version" on a konsole)?
No .pdf files are visible at all?
If some are not visible, can you post one of those, please?

Can you view those PDF files in Okular?
