Description None 2004-04-13 21:32:16 UTC
Version: 1.6 (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources

It would be nice to include more patterns to match with to filter out obvious junk.

For example, ^%e$, where ^ signifies the beginning of a line, $ the end, and %e the e-mail address of an account. In this fashion, you could filter on mails sent to you directly, mail send to your through BCC or CC, etc. There's all sorts of information about the account that should be matchable. It might be useful to filter based on if the from and reply adddresses match, if the from address is in your address book, etc. Maybe, one could even filter on if the message is validly signed, validly signed and encrypted, etc. In any case, there's a large area of filtering rules possible with these expansions.

most of what you mention is already possible with the last kmail-release.
New in cvs-version is the "from-address in addressbook"-filter.

to create a filter which checks for "from" and "reply-to" is possible.

I don't know about the signed-emails.

but most of the "large area" you mention is already possible.

Adjusting title to the points which are still open in this report.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
