Description Jamo 2004-04-05 00:42:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs

Konqueror should be able to open .bin-file with associated .cue-file and browse the imagefile.

This can be now done with separate programs: first to use 'bchunk' to convert .bin-file to ISO-image and then mounting it with 'EzISO' or from command line, but this is quite boring process and requires a lot of typing. Compare to Daemon-tools for Windows.

Referred programs:

bchuck: http://he.fi/bchunk/
EzISO: http://users.skynet.be/top/eziso/
Daemon-Tools: http://www.daemon-tools.cc/

a very good idea. transparent browsing shouldn't be hard to implement as most of the programs exist already. This can probably be fairly easily extended to normal isos/nero files etc. (afaik you can already 'mount' isos using mount) mountiso (http://www.jinjiru.ru/index/mountiso) already has some interesting capabilities, if imho a bit addonish.

thx dudes :)
