Description jwbroek 2004-04-03 17:35:18 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs

Window/border snapping when moving windows is a great feature, since it enables users to easily maximize their screen usage. After all, why would you ever want to put a window 2 pixels from the screen border/another window?

However, why stop at moving windows? A very similar situation arises when users resize windows. For instance, I often want to resize a window so that it completely fills all available space on a screen with multiple windows open. There is no practical reason why I would want to resize a window to 2 pixels from the border of the nearest other window.

Anyways, it seems like this may be a relatively easy extension of an existing feature, that would nevertheless make my KDE experience even more enjoyable than it already is. Thanks!
