Description Aaron Peterson 2004-03-31 16:00:18 UTC
Version: 0.5 (using KDE 3.2.1, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 20040217 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.3, propolice-3.3-7)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.4-gentoo-r1

the menu editor looks like a kcontrol module, I'd like to see it work as such..

I was really scared that it was like gnome, making exploratory changes permanent instantly... I was happy to see a message asking me if I wanted to save at the end... but I was scared.

Menu editing appears to be a place for major new feature work in KDE, from the start menu to the application tool bars...

Good luck,
I'll be able to help someday, but hopefully I'll be needed on something else, Thanks

Kmenuedit now works as suggested. The change does not take effect until users click the "Save" action. There is also the "Reset to System Menu" action to reset everything to the system default.
