For send items it is possible to send them again, also in other folders then the send mail folder. Only after they are moved via your filter I guess it is losing its marking. This can be solved to mark it as send in that filter rule. What stays is the suggestion to mark the messages which has a from address which is in the identities as send items so you can send them again.

In Context menu there is only "mark as import", "mark as read", "mark as unread". Many of my sent messages aren't marked as sent by default, so I'd like to have the option "mark as sent" again. It was very usefull for me, and, I think, for others, as you can see in this bug.
