Version: 0.8.6 (using KDE 3.2.1, (testing/unstable)) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (Debian) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.4 When i try to view images fullscreen, i only get a black screen. I noticed this on Debian Woody with 3.2 debs from kde.org and on Debian Unstable with debian kde packages. The only way to stop this behavior is to downgrade kuickshow.
Same problem (no full screen images) occurs with version 0.8.6 using KDE3.2.0 on Mandrake 9.2 installed from Mandrake Rpms.
Same here, black screen on fullscreen mode. Slackware 9.1, KDE 3.2.1.
It seems in fullscreen mode the background color (black for most people) gets painted over the image, or the image doesn't get painted at all. You can see this if you change the background color (set it to grey for example). This behaviour remains even if I switch back to window mode.I have to close the image window and reopen it to get the picture painted correctly. I took a quick look at the source code, but couldn't find the bug.. Sorry..
It's a duplicate of the bug #77498. I had this problem too, and it was solved by upgrading from Qt 3.2.1 to 3.3.2.
