Description Patrick Audley 2004-03-24 00:27:18 UTC
Version: CVS as of 2004/03/21 (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

When you drag messages over a closed folder tree it expands and lets you pick a subfolder. It would be nice if it returned to it's original state after the drag and drop was complete. A common task for me is to drag mail from my inbox to an archive folder with various subfolders. I don't often want to see it open (it has a large number of subfolders) except when I file messages.

Just a thought :)

This still applies for KDE 3.5.3. The requested behaviour has beed implemented in Evolution for ages.

As an alternative you can press "M" for move message and select the folder there, also less danger to accidentally drop a mail onto the wrong folder.

Hmm ... now the folder is not auto-expanded anymore.

I think it can't be closed as invalid just because the functionality it's related to is currently broken. See bug 179711.
