Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.1) Installed from: Slackware Packages OS: Linux Sometimes when you highlight some text and an image also gets highlighted then the image does not always get properly shaded to indicate it is highlighted. I have seen this on several webpages, but here is one page where it happens consistently : http://www.ipkonfig.com/Articles/BustedAthlon64/ I can reproduce this on two sepperate boxes that are quite different: Box1 is a P4 1.5GHz with a Matrox gfx card running Slackware Linux 9.0 and KDE 3.2.0 Box2 is a AMD 1.4GHz with a NVidia gfx card running Slackware Linux 9.1 and KDE 3.2.1 Both systems exhibit the exact same behavior. To show exactely what happens whith the image I'll attach 3 screenshots to this bugreport.
Created attachment 5358 [details] case 1 of bad highlight
Created attachment 5359 [details] case 2 of bad highlight
Created attachment 5360 [details] case 3 of bad highlight
One additional comment. If I drag another window over the konqueror window with the bad highlighting and then drag it away again, then the image is highlighted/shaded perfectly. So it seems that konq does highlight the image but for some reason the display is just not updated. Could this be a QT bug instead of a KDE/Konq bug? Both boxes are using QT 3.2.3
With KDE 3.3.1 and qt 3.3.3 I can no longer reproduce this bug on the site given as an example, and I don't recall seeing it anywhere else either, so personally I consider this bug fixed.
