Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.4) Installed from: Unspecified Linux OS: Linux I was thinking about new look of KDE login manager. For today it's (IMO) just ugly and it's definitly not fits with beautiful KDE 3.2. So I made project of new look, my proposition (You can find it here: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=9097), but I'm not a programist so I can't turn it into code. As you can see people on kde-look.org like it (or even love it;-) ) so maybe it's good idea to write new login manager?

very nice indeed!!
Very nice!I have an ideea and i think i can program it(at least i try),but i need the graphics for that.If someone is interested to help me,please email me at postmaster@linuxgfx.com
SuperKaramba'd KDM What if the KDM could be themeable almost like SuperKaramba, so that each theme would completely change the look, feel, and usability of the login. In a sense, be a completely diferent kdm. If it were possible to actually use superkaramba themes, it would be even greater, you could have weather, etc, etc, etc.. superkaramba could even be some kind of standard for display of information on the kde system. I hope my general idea is understandable, basically I'm saying let's create a super-karamba'd kdm
looks great!!!
Looks great, but kdm should be fully skinable if this isn't too difficult! :)
Hey yeah, both of the screenshots look very nice (might be too windows-like for some people but I don't care. Also, the redmond splash has made it's way to kde so why stop there?) :) If it's implemented, please deliver one or two default images but let the user choose which one to use or at best, use own images, just like default kdm. You have my vote.
doh, just saw it is marked 'resolved' and the duplicate is still open and discussed.. sorry
