Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0) Installed from: Mandrake RPMs OS: Linux When I visit a site that uses Macromedia Flash with Konqueror, the page reports that I do not have a supported version of flash installed. I think flash is installed okay and does work, because on sites where you can continue on and override the autodetection, the flash movies work fine. I think the problem is that konq is not communicating the version of flashplayer installed properly. Go to this link and click that you know you have flash installed, and you will see that the flash works fine. http://www.nickjr.com/common/detect/flash_dir/index.jhtml Flash works without issue with Mozilla, and Opera on my 10.0 PowerPack installation. This is also noted in bug 8689 on Mandrakesoft bugzilla http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=8689
Note: Mandrake's 3.2.0 is really 3_2_BRANCH, so this appears to be the same issue *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 77198 ***
Okay, thanks. I searched for already reported problem, but didn't see anything, Sorry, I guess I didn't look hard enough. I'll point Laurent at bug #77198. Hopefully you'll have a fix out and he'll be able to get it into Mandrake for 10.0 Official.
