In larger environment, like in an Exchange environment with several mailbox servers, you sometimes get an IMAP referral that basically says 'the requested IMAP folder is on this IMAP server. Go there and you will be rewarded'. It would be cool if Kmail, or kio_imap, would follow IMAP referrals, possibly with some notification from the user.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
