Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.2 (Mandrake Linux 10.0 3.3.2-6mdk)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.6.3-4mdk-i686-up-4GB

Kontact summary is displayed using 2 columns.
In each column, each component is displayed as a block.
There is someting wrong in the way these blocks are aligned.

On the attached screenshot, you will see the big white wasted area under (nouveaux messages) because (Dates de naissance et anniversaires) incorrectly begins at the bottom of (newsticker block) which is on the second column ! 
(Dates de naissance et anniversaires) block placement should not depend on the newsticker block length, but only on the length of the preceeding block on the same column !
