Description Raphael Slinckx 2004-03-02 22:30:34 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc3.3.2
OS: Linux

Hi !
I use kghostview to print a pdf file (generated with latex). The roblem is that it begin to send data to the printer that begin to print, something like 1 page or 1 and 1/2 page then printing suddenly stops and kjobviewer deletes the job, leaving the printer waiting for more data. Cups logs show nothing unusual

I also tried this: I launched printing kjobviewer shows the job, the printer begins to print then stops, but pausing the job before it gets deleted and then resuming it works (it print all the data)

Hope it means something to you !

Can you try "print to file" and see if the resulting .ps file contains the full file?

Does it happen with all files or just a specific file (or specific set of files) in which case, can you post a test case?

What is your version of ghostscript?

thanks,
luis
