Description Sean Peters 2004-02-26 21:18:12 UTC
Version: 3.1.5 (using KDE 3.1.5)
Installed from: (testing/unstable)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 20031229 (prerelease) (Debian)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-xfs

After installing KDE (as part of a Knoppix hard drive install), added a Kodak DC5000 to the "digital cameras" section of "peripherals". Then, when I tried to plug the camera into the USB port to extract some pictures, I kept getting failures, with the system claiming that the USB port was already claimed.

Tried to remove the DC5000 driver (thinking I would try to reinstall), but every time I select it and click "remove", the control center crashes. System is a Dell Latitude 510.

Any one else have this problem with Kodak DC5000/another camera. And is it still valid on kde 4?

This crash report is at least 3 years old and there were no further comments or status updates since then.

Therefore we believe that this crash is already fixed in recent KDE 4 versions or the backtrace is no longer applicable to the current KDE 4 sources.

If the crash still happens with a recent KDE version (4.10.5 or 4.11), please add an updated backtrace or provide steps to reproduce. For more information, see http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports

(To prevent automatic closing of this bug in the future, please set the bug status to ASSIGNED or CONFIRMED)
