Description plax 2004-02-23 15:40:52 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
OS: Linux

It would be quite useful to have an additional "special printer" that creates (a series of?) bitmapped image files as output (png?). Thus one could later edit the printout with tools like gimp etc. Such a printer would fit nicely into the already existing "vector graphics" printer like pdf and postscript output.
Regards, Patrick

I think this is a nice idea....

Could probably be even easy to implement (JJ: type of job?)....

I would be surprised if this is easy to implement, I don't even know where to begin... Removing the junior job keyword.

KDEPrint is obsolete, unmaintained and will never be revived. Closing all open bugs.
