Description vampa_g 2004-02-22 18:43:16 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0)
Installed from: Slackware Packages
OS: Linux

Hi!
I use Slackware 9.1 with KDE 3.2.0 (binary packages downloaded from kde website). Well, when starting playing a mp3 file with kde sound applications like Noatun, Kaboodle, Juk, artsd crashes with the following bugtrace:

I use arts with ALSA support... Ah, arts is of course 1.2.0.
Why this? PLS HELP!

I post more info. With noatun, when I try to play a mp3 file, I get this message in console:

unix_connect: can't connect to server (unix:/tmp/mcop-giulio/experimenta_localdomain-3eb4-403b5566)
Launched ok, pid = 16070
