Description Roland Seuhs 2004-02-19 16:13:31 UTC
Version: 1.6 (using KDE 3.2.0, SuSE)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-4GB

When composing a mail, the attachements are shown in alphabetical order, but the mail is sent with the attachements ordered by when they were attached.

It would be nice when kmail would show the attachments in the same order when composing the mail, too. Even better would be if you could reorder your attachements.

I agree in general, I disagree only with part I believe you were writing it too fast.

Composer should follow the adding of attachments order (this part is buggy), not that KMail should display attachments in order shown in composer.

Currently, if you look closer even alphabetic order is not preserved in Composer while adding new attachments (one by one).

So partially it is a bug report, partially a wish. Anyway, my vote for it.

Bug #71482 suggest adding another column to the attachment list. That would
solve much of this bug, too. Think this is a good junior job.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
