Description Nilesh Bansal 2004-02-10 23:03:14 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

I have seen that many new users while playing with configuration of various apps (konqueror/kopete etc..) select wrong options and end up in a mess. Newbies do things like changing file association for a directory in konqueror(and as a result konqueror can't be used as filebrowser), changing default stylesheet in konqueror etc..

And i have seen people doing rm -rf ~/.kde to reset all settings.

It would be very nice if there is some KControl module from where someone can reset all settings of some particular app(like reset all my konqueror except for my bookmarks or something like that).

Moved to systemsettings, the wish could be interesting in the new KDE4.
