Description Andreas Korinek 2004-02-09 17:21:48 UTC
Version: 1.6 (using KDE 3.2.0, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-4GB

Since KMail 1.6 I can no longer send mail via my mailserver which requires
cram_md5 authentication. When trying to send mails, there is only a error box
saying "Authentication Failure". Older versions of KMail and other mail clients
work as expected.

Mail server software ist exim3 (Debian Woody).

CRAM-MD5 is unfortunately broken.
