Version: 0.8.0 (using KDE 3.2.0, compiled sources) Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22 when i try to change my MSN nick name i get the following message box: Error code MSN 715
According to http://www.hypothetic.org/docs/msn/reference/error_list.php Error 715: "Not expected" "sent in response to a change of display name (REA) on an unverified Passport account"
It's because your e-mail is not verrified (you did not click on the link in the confirmation email) I'm actualy writing a english error.

Note you don't just need to click the link, but also need to click Continue *and* then login to Passport. Especially the last step is far less optional than users would expect.

A more verbose error message will be in Kopete 0.9

So, why not just silently ignore this "error" message, or log it in some non-obtrusive way? As things stand, overnight Kopete will build up a stack of these error-notifications (modal windows, no less) requiring plenty of patient Ok-clicking.
BTW, I'm still seeing this in KDE-3.2.3...
I would like to add a "don't show again" checkboxe. But at the place the messagebox is, it's dangerous to have an inner loop, needed to place this checkbox.
I've opened bug 84775, saying about the message being too intrusive for the user. At least the other bug is not closed as this one (that looks like as there isn't any problem).
