Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.0) Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package OS: Linux Popup menus from the panel, including the "K" start menu occasionally get hung. Steps to reproduce: -click the "K" to bring up the menu -mouse around to make some of the sub-menus appear -click on a few of the submenu items in the main menu. For example, click on "Graphics" in the main menu. Sometimes the menu will hang: no menu items will highlight for the mouse, no submenus open, and the currently displayed submenu will not close. Keyboard and mouse input is blocked. Clicking outside of the menu does not make it go away, and other applications cannot take focus. Pressing Escape is the only way to make the menu go away. The same thing happens with right-clicked context menus anywhere in the panel. Normal menus from KDE applications (the menu bars) and right-clicked context menus do NOT exhibit this behaviour; they work fine. I have tried this on two separate machines with the same result. Both show the behaviour, although it is much more frequent on one than the other.
