Description Joachim Eibl 2004-02-02 23:29:02 UTC
Version: 3.2.0 (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.3.1 (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux

When konqueror is in midnight-commander-mode then left of the splitter at the bottom is a chain symbol which means that any change affects both sides when visible, or when off, then each side is independant.

This symbol doesn't disappear when clicked (although it should). The behaviour changes as expected.
The chain symbol disappears, when the window must be redrawn (e.g minimize and restore).

When the chain symbol was off, then clicking on it makes it visible again.

So it's only the drawing when toggling it off, the function behind it is ok.

Confirmed on FreeBSD (3.2.0 + QT 3.2.3).
