Description Alejandro Villar 2004-01-28 00:07:05 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
OS: Linux

There should be a hotkey for navigating between tabs, since it's a bit uncomfortable having to click next tab when, for example, changing kicker's configuration. In Windows this is Ctrl+Tab, but this is default for Change Desktop in KDE. What about adding the option to "Configure hotkeys..."?

The problem I saw is that every application has its own tab shortcut. For example: Kopete, Konversation, Dolphin.

If I want to use another key for switching tabs, say Ctrl+Pgdown and Ctrl+Pgup, I have to change it in all the applications individually.

It would be nice to have a global shortcut for switching tabs, and let the applications make use of it. Since the tab control is a very common one nowadays it shouldn't be a big issue I guess.

Using KDE 4.2.3 in Opensuse 11.1 here.
